*POLL APPROVED!!!!!
Note written to Mrs. Mitchell for poll of student body. Note saved below. Word poll exactly as written below.
Mrs. Mitchell. I would like to get permission to do a student body poll. All voters will be kept anonymous, and the data will only be used for my report for Mr. Newcome’s class. The poll topic is “Do you support Gay Marriage?” There will be four options for the student body to vote on.
I support Gay Marriage, and believe that same-gender couples should have the same rights as heterosexual couples.
I do not support Gay Marriage, and believe that marriage is meant for a man and woman only.
I do not support Gay Marriage, but believe same-gender couples should have most of the same rights as heterosexual couples (Ex: Taxes, Housing).
I have no preference on Gay Marriage.
Again, no voters will be quoted, or pressed to support their reasoning behind their vote. Any student who does not wish to vote will not be pressed to. I thank you for your time, and truly hope you approve this so I may have an idea of where the student body stands. Thanks again, Ethan Osteen
